Our Yakima Valley is resilient and together, we will get through COVID-19. But, families in your Valley are facing economic challenges brought on or furthered by this pandemic.
La Casa Hogar & Nuestra Casa in Sunnyside, in partnership together, opened a COVID-19 Emergency Relief fund for Yakima Valley families who have less or no access to other forms of government support. Your neighbors are out of work, scared to work, or have lost an income-earner within their families and are struggling to cover their basic needs. Ellison Foundation has been the generous supporter to offer seed dollars to get it started and now, we seek investments from YOU!
Your investment gives families $250 or $500, depending on need. Both La Casa and Nuestra Casa are tracking requests for aid throughout the Valley and are distributing it regionally. 5% of your gift will be allocated to support us in administering these dollars.
