Join us for two fun filled weeks of classes

Experience Mexican Culture while Learning Spanish!

September Experience is a premier community event like no other in our community. It honors the diversity of people in the community and strives to build community bridges to the future. Enjoy three weeks of fun, new learning experiences and an opportunity to experience Mexican culture. As a bonus, you will meet and get to know the staff and students of La Casa Hogar. A lovely informal homelike setting will enhance your experience learning.

Proceeds from the September Experience will benefit the programs of La Casa Hogar Yakima Interfaith Coalition. Our mission is to cultivate empowerment and self-sufficiency through English classes, driving skills, computer literacy, parent education and leadership skills to over 400 Hispanic women and children annually. In the fall we also will be launching our new parent education service, where mothers will be taught how to be actively engaged in their children’s learning. The goal is to prepare parents for participation in their children’s educational process.

Spanish Immersion

Learn Spanish by hearing and speaking only Spanish with native speakers, a great start for the beginner and wonderful practice for those approaching intermediate level. (20 hours)
