Kermes 2011

The Kermes Fiesta was so much fun! Everyone enjoyed themselves!
What a great response from the community who came out to participate in our 3rd annual family friendly “Kermes Fiesta” de La Casa Hogar

Over 1000 people celebrated with us as we enjoyed live entertainment, authentic Mexican food, kid activities, shopping, back to school suplies and new backpacks all with a Mexican style carnival atmosphere.

This year we were thrilled to collaborate with The Seasons Performance Hall as they brought back Salsa In The Streets. They offered free Salsa lessons and a live Salsa Band playing until midnight. What an amazing turnout we had!

About 30 locally owned businesses and area health and educational non-profit agencies set up booths at the Kermes Fiesta.  Because of the community support and the countless hours of volunteers and in-kind donation from local businesses we were able to reach our goal and prepare children for “back 2 school”.
