 La Casa Hogar is a center for women and children. The center houses a variety
of programs essential to the successful transition of new immigrants to life
in the Yakima Valley. Conversational Spanish ClassesOur advanced beginner-intermediate Spanish Class meets 8-9 am Monday, Wednesday and Friday at La Casa Hogar. Classes emphasize practicing conversation and are at the advanced beginner to intermediate level. We believe that learning Spanish is a process and that you can learn and benefit wherever you are in the process. “A warm, non-threatening learning experience which melds people of different Spanish abilities together in a fun cooperative educational opportunity of language and cultural enrichment.” (Ann, student).
